Escape Greece was founded by photographer Giannis Zarzonis, with more than three decades of experience in travel photography, publishing and visual documentation.
Through collaborations with institutions, destinations and cultural organisations, the studio develops photography projects, publications and visual storytelling focused on culture, landscapes and heritage.

Escape Greece develops photography, publishing and digital projects focused on culture, landscapes and travel. In collaboration with cultural institutions, tourism organizations and local partners, the projects combine research, documentation and visual storytelling — for places, routes and stories worth telling.
Giannis Zarzonis is a photographer and creator of cultural and travel projects exploring the relationship between landscape, history and culture. He has collaborated with institutions, organisations and publishing initiatives, building an extensive photographic archive of Greece and its natural and cultural routes.
He is the creator of The Mount Olympus, Via Egnatia Route, The Greek Heritage and Alexander Heritage — projects that combine photography, documentation and digital technologies including aerial imaging, 360° photography and VR tours.
Escape Greece operates in accordance with a certified ISO 9001 quality management system for the design and production of visual content and promotional activities in the fields of tourism, culture and the environment.
The scope of certification includes photography, video production, virtual tours (AR – VR – 3D), publishing, creative design, website and digital portal design, as well as the design and implementation of cultural and tourism routes and products.
