Greece holds an inexhaustible natural wealth, alongside its monuments of history. National parks, wetlands, alpine lakes, gorges, and mountain forests create a mosaic of landscapes where rare species of plants and animals still survive. From Mount Olympus and Pindos to the island ecosystems of the Aegean and Ionian Seas, nature reveals its authentic beauty.
Nature Greece documents this diversity through photography, video, and 360° imagery, but also through routes themselves: walking trails along rivers and valleys, mountain ascents to high peaks, or off-road explorations into remote landscapes. Each route is an experience that connects nature with culture, and places with the people who inhabit them.
The project’s goal is to build a comprehensive archive that highlights the natural heritage of Greece and offers the public an experience of knowledge, aesthetics, and exploration — in a land that remains alive, authentic, and in many ways unexplored.
