Stretching from Mount Grammos to the Agrafa range, Pindos forms a single mountain system that both connects and separates regions, ecosystems, and cultures. Pindosmountains is a long-term project documenting the landscape, national parks (Valia Calda, Vikos–Aoos), rivers and alpine meadows, the region’s outstanding flora and fauna, as well as the human presence that has shaped this environment for centuries.
The project highlights mountain routes, stone bridges and monasteries, traditional settlements, and the lesser-known corners of Pindos that remain largely unrecorded. Through panoramic and aerial imagery, 360° photos, videos, and short documentaries, it creates a multifaceted portrait that brings to light the natural and cultural wealth of a land still alive, authentic, and in many ways unexplored.
